John Bird Tamarack founding member, Jeff Bird, is my brother, and I had both this album and it’s predecessor when they were originally issued. I loved them then, and I love them even more now. The moving traditional tunes, the near perfect arrangements, the fiery playing and the passionate singing continue to astound me even after four decades. These are historic artefacts from the Canadian folk revival of the 1960s and ‘70s, but still as fresh as yesterday. Filled with the passionate discovery of you Favorite track: the old ragadoo.

This record was recorded ELORA SOUND in the capable hands of BILL MATHER. This is the studio RUSH did a lot of recording in. One day we came in to find a floppy disc nailed to a post for not behaving in a RUSH like manner.
More death and destruction at sea and on land.
